Bistro1909 is a family owned company which owns two restaurants in the old town of the city Alcudia in Mallorca, Spain. Bistro 1909 Alcudia and Bistro1909 Plaza are both open for lunch and dinner and has each a capacity of 30 covers on the street terrace and 25 inside. The menu is presenting local ingredients in a global setting. Several classics are side-by-side original Bistro1909 dishes. The kitchen and service team consists of eight persons. The restaurants are open from March through October. Bistro1909 has Scandinavian owners and the company language is English. Waiter / Waitress The waiter is the front person of the bistro and the one who creates the atmosphere. A waiter in Bistro1909 is performing all necessary tasks in a restaurant including bar tending, order taking, serving, cleaning and handling the tilt. We believe that you are a highly social and talkative person who can function calmly in a stressful environment. You have some experience from restaurant service and you are very interested to learn new things. You understand the value of good service and you truly enjoy giving it at the same time as you manage to create good sales. You enjoy working in a team close to others. You are also physically fit to handle sometimes hard work in a hot climate. You need to speak good English and it is a plus if you speak German or Spanish. The employment starts 20 March and finishes for the season 31 October. The salary is according to agreement. The company will provide Social Security and insurance according to Spanish law.
