Do you want to change the world? At Cabify and Movo, that’s what we’re doing. We aim to make cities better places to live by improving mobility for the people living in them, connecting riders to drivers, providing mobility alternatives such us scooters and moopeds and many others to come, at the touch of a button. Maybe one day cities will be places where nobody needs a private car. But we’ve still got a long way to go...fancy joining us?

Our Product & Engineering teams are based in Madrid and include an eclectic bunch of awesome people from different backgrounds like Ruby, Go, Elixir, Javascript and Python.

Right now we’re working on some pretty greenfield projects with a solid set of product ideas lined up ready for innovative engineers to tackle and of course we have big plans to take over the taxi app service industry!

You could be working on anything from migrating our internal systems from Ruby to Elixir, to working alongside the data team to understand user behaviours and build/ make tweaks to cool new features. We have a lot of projects and teams to choose from.

What we are looking for:

Proven experience developing production applications in (preferably) functional programming languages, or any other. Better if Ruby, Elixir or Go.
Proactivity and attention to scalability, performance, availability and usability of our systems
Ability to work both independently and with a small team.
Ability to understand and get involved in product and business decisions.
Proven ability to achieve results in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
Knowledge of Javascript and other frontend technologies/frameworks would be nice
