SERVICIO EURES, Instituto Aragonés de Empleo, INAEM OE Compromiso de Caspe, Zaragoza, Spain, is currently searching for Hotel Manager fluent in Spanish and English. You will be responsible both for sales and for the day-to-day management of a hotel and its staff. While taking a strategic overview and planning ahead to maximize profits, the manager must also pay attention to the details, setting the example for staff to deliver a standard of service and presentation that meets guests' needs and expectations. Tasks will be: • planning and organizing accommodation, catering and other hotel services; • promoting and marketing the business; • managing budgets and financial plans as well as controlling expenditure; • maintaining statistical and financial records; • setting and achieving sales and profit targets; • analysing sales figures and devising marketing and revenue management strategies; • recruiting, training and monitoring staff; • planning work schedules for individuals and teams; • meeting and greeting customers; • supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings; • dealing with contractors and suppliers; • ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations. Minimum requirements: - Candidates must have 3 years of experience as Hotel Managers in a similar position; or at least 5 years of experience as Assistant Hotel Manager or Corporate Sales Manager - Fluency in Spanish and English, fluency in German or other languages will be also appreciated - Support in training activities to be developed in the program - IT knowledge at OPERA and MICROS FIDELIO software WORKING CONDITIONS Salary: Minimum 30.000€ gross per year + bonus according to the budget goals and the candidate experience and background. Full time position (40 hours per week).
